Bodyfat calculation for male athletes
with the 3-folds formula of Jackson/Pollock
Attention:female athletes should use the 3-folds formula by Jackson/Pollock for women.
How does it work?
First measure all three sites; three times would be best, but once is enough. Then enter your values into the apropriate fields and klick the Calculate button. The result will be displayed.What if no result is displayed?
We need one value in each line at least. If you did not, the calculator ignores your input. And please don't forget to enter your age, please. It's needed, too.
The Locations:
1) Chest fold: A diagonal fold at the outer pectoralis, in the midlle between nipple and axilla.2) waist fold: A vertical fold an inch right from the navel.
3) Thigh fold: A vertical fold in front of the tigh, half way from hip joint to knee.
